The fear of terror continues to be kept alive whilst the UK moves towards a surveillance society in which the public space becomes a danger zone.

Will we need to radically change our homes to accommodate our increased safety demands?

Focusing on perceived domestic security in times of potential bioterrorist and chemical attacks, my proposal is to populate our houses with animals as biosensors, acting as an auxiliary instinct for a technology-led society.
